Centro Boliviano de Estudios Multidisciplinarios (CEBEM) is a non-profit organization devoted to multidisciplinary research and postgraduate teaching in different fields of study. As a private an autonomous center we are devoted to:

• Research, reflection and discussion of significant problems in Bolivian and Latin American society from multidisciplinary perspectives and approaches, spreading intellectual production through national and international publications, seminars, workshops and networks.
• Teaching online professional updating courses.
• Services.

CEBEM proposes and stimulates project development between institutions in order to make the most of valuable human resources and to avoid improvisations and duplication.

CEBEM encourages collaboration between different areas such as democracy, regional and urban development and environmental management.

CEBEM focuses its efforts on the study of the scope and impact of the current state policies that transform its relationships with society, how they change the way the traditional economy operates and the way they impact the composition of civil society as well as social, indigenous and union practices.

For the development of its different activities, CEBEM has developed relationships with academic and cooperation institutions from Bolivia, Latin America and outside.
